At UOIT we offer first class varsity programming, state-of-the-art facilities and above all, a commitment to our student athletes and the community. It is through the vision, support and leadership of our donors that we take such pride in our newly establish UOIT Ridgebacks Alumni Program.

On the court, the ice or in the water, all varsity athletes share the same passion to make a difference by competing for the Ridgebacks. 

As we continue to build our varsity programs we have had the tremendous privilege of working with outstanding student athletes who were instrumental in allowing the Ridgebacks to successfully launch competitively into OUA competition.

It is vitally important that we continue foster the proud tradition of Ridgeback athletics with our alumni that has developed in such a short time.  We are extremely proud of all of our athletes as we are confident that all of them will go on to successful and meaningful lives after their great experience at UOIT and playing for the Ridgebacks.

While the Athletic Department currently provides operating funding for each of varsity sports teams, additional resources go a long way to augment this funding.  Your contributions are much appreciated as an alumni or a Ridgeback supporter in ways that will assist with our varsity teams continuing to flourish for years to come.

As a donor, you have total flexibility in where your donation goes: either to a specific varsity team or a special endowment to name a few.  Our staff in the Athletics Department combined with the experts in the UOIT Advancement Office welcome the opportunity to discuss with you the options available to you.  You can be assured that 100% of your donation goes exactly where you designate it to go.

Our donors share a strong belief in the importance of quality education and understand the value athletics has to the overall student experience at university. As a result, we see the overwhelming positive impact that UOIT is making for the future of our student athletes.
