Favourite Sports Memory: 2 eights.... april... ice has just left the surface of the lake.  Port side cox causes a sudden change in direction.  We let it run, hold water... too late, 8 boat spears our 6 seat with their bow, causing a 12 inch hole through our boat. All athletes are recovered quickly by the coach boat, but I am left behind to remove all the oars from the quickly sinking boat.  As the water flooded in, my legs slowly lost all feeling to the icy waters of guelph lake.  The boat was dragged home slightly below the waters surface, and I survived to tell the tale, arriving back to the dock in wet spandex in near hypothermic condition. --- the end :)
