RIDGEBACKS MEN'S HOCKEY PLAY LAURIER TOUGH BUT FALL 5-1 TO THE GOLDEN HAWKS AT HOME!

Oshawa (OUA) - The UOIT Ridgebacks inaugural season continued at home tonight in front of another great UOIT home crowd. The Blue Crew was out in full force but even the deafening cheering and noise could not boost the Ridgebacks to victory on this night. The Golden Hawks were too strong in the end despite the Ridgebacks scoring first.

The first ever season for Ontario's newest University in the OUA has been a tough one in the W-L record column however, the expansion team with a roster of 100% freshman up and down have competed hard and have served notice that they will soon be a hockey program to be reckoned with in the next year or two as they build and grow.

Head Coach Marlin Muylaert and the Ridgebacks will regroup and prepare for two home game coming up Nov. 30th vs Western and December 1st vs Waterloo.
The Ridgebacks will also be looking forward to moving into their new varsity changerooms that will be fully completed and ready for the new year. The new space will make a big difference for the program.
