UOIT RIDGEBACKS TO ANNOUNCE THEIR FIRST EVER HOCKEY ROSTERS IN BOWMANVILLE!!!

The Department of Athletics at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology is extremely excited to invite you to an historical news conference being held at the Brian McFarlane Theatre inside the Total Hockey Museum in Bowmanville, Ontario on Monday September 17th at 7:30pm.

This big night will profile the UOIT Ridgebacks Men's and Women's Hockey Head Coaches Marlin Muylaert and Gary Pitcher and of course announce publically for the very first time the first ever Ridgebacks team rosters and assistant coaches!

The big announcement and photo opportunity will start at 7:30pm with attendees able to tour the great museum dedicated to the story of hockey afterwards.  The big news conference is also a prelude to the team's home openers and a big "Total Hockey Day in Bowmanville" that is a partnership between UOIT and the Town of Clarington to be held on Sunday, September 23rd at the Garnet Rickard Complex in Bowmanville. Schedule includes a $12 ticket that will include the UOIT Ridgebacks first ever exhibition game vs. University of Ottawa Gee Gees at 2pm (with Peter Puck, Hunter the Ridgeback, Fraser McArthur UOIT/DC Student President) and other VIP's dropping the ceremonial puck, followed by a tour of the Total Hockey Museum. The day will also include a second great hockey game at 7:30pm that night when the Bowmanville Eagles host Lindsay. What a great day of hockey.  (Special $6 student rate for UOIT students and staff is also available for the UOIT game and tour only)  All supported by the Town of Clarington.

UOIT is entering their inaugural season of University Hockey in the OUA this fall as big time University hockey comes to the region for the first time ever!
