RIDGEBACKS MEN'S TENNIS OPEN SECOND SEASON

The UOIT Ridgebacks opened their 2007 tennis schedule on the road @ McMaster University ( Hamilton ) on September 13. On September 15, due to facility problems, UOIT played host to Montreal at York University in Toronto .

The highlight of the weekend was Lee Cockerham (Game Development) and Airudh Thommandram (Electrical Engineering) upending the McMaster doubles team 8-6. However, the Marauders won the doubles matches (2 matches to 1) and captured the doubles point. McMaster then went on to capture all the singles points and win the event 7-0.

On the 15th, Montreal won the event 7-0, but Christopher King (Commerce) did all he could in his singles match losing 7-6, 7-5.
