Ridgebacks ready to strut their stuff – Dance showcase this Friday

OSHAWA, Ont. – The UOIT Ridgebacks dance team will be previewing some of their routines on Friday, March 5 at noon as they are set to host a “Dance Showcase” at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre (CRWC).

Admission for the event is free and it is guaranteed that the Ridgebacks will have the fans in the stands movin’ and groovin’ with their great routines. The Ridgebacks dance styles will include jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip-hop and much more. It is also an excellent opportunity to check out what dance is all about.

The showcase is in preparation for BAM (Bust-a-Move), which is set to take place on Saturday, March 27 at the CRWC. BAM is one of the largest dance competitions featuring the top dance College and University programs from across the province.
