2012 PWHL Final Four Championship coming to UOIT

OSHAWA, Ont. – The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Provincial Women's Hockey League (PWHL) are excited to announce that the Final Four Championship weekend will be hosted by the Ridgebacks.

It is a great opportunity for us to showcase our campus and to host the top women's hockey teams in Ontario,” said UOIT women's hockey head coach Karen Nystrom. “The players, coaches, league official and fans will all enjoy the great facilities we have on campus.”

The event will take place at the Campus Ice Centre from March 30 to April 1, 2012.

The league was formed in 2004 and the Toronto Aeros have won the championship six times. The Ottawa Senators and Stoney Creek Sabres are the other previous winners of the league championship.
