Welcome to UOIT’s Dance Program

UOIT RIDGEBACKS DANCE TEAM consists of skilled dancers who perform for UOIT varsity games as well as compete and represent UOIT in University Competitions. There is a high level of commitment involved as there is approximately 2-4 hours or more, of rehearsals a week, depending on how many routines one chooses to participate in. Dancers must be willing to be involved in fundraising and other activities to support the Ridgebacks Dance Team and be available every weekend in February and March.

UOIT RIDGEBACKS DANCE TEAM rehearsals will be held from September through to March. Rehearsal dates and times to be determined upon acceptance.

UOIT RIDGEBACKS DANCE TEAM student choreographers:

Student Choreographers are welcome to audition their pieces prior to competition/submission due dates. Student Choreographers must be dancers participating on the dance team. This may include solo/duet/trio and small group choreography. Please speak to your head coach for more details. All student choreography requires approval from head coach.
