Lacrosse FAQs

 Q: When is the OUA lacrosse season?
A: The season is from the beginning of September until the end of October. 

Q: When are games held?
A: Games are typically held on the weekends, but sometimes re-scheduling occurs and they are held during the week.


Q: When will practices begin?
A: Expect to begin practicing in August 2012.


Q: How many practices are held per week?
A: Coaches will typically hold 2-3 practices during the week and captains will run 2 conditioning sessions during the week (in the mornings).


Q: How long has UOIT had a lacrosse team?
A: UOIT formed an exhibition team in 2009, and competed in the OUA Championships for the first time in 2010. 


Q: What Universities compete?
A: Guelph, McGill, McMaster, Queen’s, Toronto, Western, & Wilfrid Laurier
