Message from the Director

Welcome to Ridgeback Country and the home of our fine Varsity Athletic Programs! We are proud our of our official UOIT Ridgebacks Varsity website and we are thrilled to have become the 19th member of the Ontario University Athletics (OUA). We have the experience and the know how to create an amazing UOIT Varsity Athletic program and we will look to contend in a short period of time. The Ridgebacks Rowing and Tennis teams have quickly established themselves in the OUA while our Men's and Women's Varsity Hockey teams completed a memorable milestone year for first year OUA hockey programs. The excitment is building as our programs look forward to this fall and taking on Ontario's best!!!

Fan interest and attendance has been high and the buzz was everywhere on campus this past year, including the Blue Crew Fan club!!!

We are very excited about becoming an official member of the OUA and soon the CIS. Take the time to tour through our popular website for coaches bio's, amazing facilities and much more about our top notch Varsity Programs! If you are considering University and varsity athletics in the programs we offer, we believe UOIT should be your #1 choice!!!
